Who am I?

My photo
A Chef in College: Chronicles of a Pre-Med Student's Culinary Adventures
My name is Joseph, I am a passionate student, self-taught chef, and baker. I am also a vegetarian and try to incorporate whole, healthy foods into my diet every day. I believe what I put into my body has a great impact on my level of energy, mood, and general efficiency throughout the day. This does not mean that I refrain from eating chocolate, cookies, cakes, or anything else that is typically labelled as "junk food". "Junk food" can be part of a healthy diet, especially if it made with wholesome ingredients (whole grains, low glycemic index sweeteners, healthy fats, etc.). Healthy cooking is about limiting processed ingredients, being smart about cooking methods, and above all, enjoying the creative process of cooking. I invite you to do the same: enjoy your food, fill your life with exotic spices and colors, and experiment with new ingredients. Have fun with cooking and enjoy! Feel free to ask me any questions you may have regarding the ingredients I use, my cooking philosophies, my artwork, etc. Keep cooking, and spread the love!
